The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is seeking applications from women surgeons who would like to apply for the Mentorship Program for Women Surgeons.  This is an opportunity for early career female surgeons (less than five years in practice) to develop a mentoring relationship with an established female Fellow of the College.

The Program will include up to 25 mentor/mentee pairs who are required to attend the 2017 ACS Clinical Congress in San Diego, CA.  Applicants to the program must be either an ACS Fellow or Associate Fellows, or currently in the process of applying for ACS Fellowship.  The mentorship relationship will extend from October 2017 through October 2018.

We are seeking both Mentors and Mentees.  Visit the Women in Surgery Committee web page for more details and to access links to the Mentor and Mentee applications at https://www.facs.org/about-acs/governance/acs-committees/women-in-surgery-committee.

Questions can be directed to cbura@facs.org.
