The Resident and Associate Society of the American College of Surgeons (RAS-ACS) invites all ACS residents and associate fellow members to submit an essay to the annual Symposium debate.
This year’s topic is: Electronic Medical Records in Surgical Practice: Better care or bigger burden?
Determine your position on the topic:
Pro: The promise of the current EMR system
Con: The perils of the current EMR system
To participate in this debate, craft your 1,000 word essay in the “pro” or “con” position of this topic and submit it to the application site https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RAS2022CCSYMPOSIUM no later than 5:00 pm CST on Friday, June 3, 2022.
The two first-place winners of this essay contest will compete in the debate at Clinical Congress 2022. The two second-place essay contest winners will have their submissions published in the November 2022 issue of the Bulletin of the American College of Surgeons.
