  • Applications Accepted until March 28 for Liaison Positions

    The Resident and Associate Society of the American College of Surgeons (RAS-ACS) is currently seeking volunteers to serve on a variety of ACS committees and Advisory Councils. Most terms are three years and will begin in October 2022. Please review the descriptions for each group by accessing this webpage.

    All applications will be reviewed by the RAS Nominations Committee and notifications will be sent in May. All candidates must be able to serve up to a three-year term while still remaining an active member of RAS-ACS.

    Nominations are open to ACS resident and associate fellow members.  

    Note: The RAS-ACS will hold your application for one year to alert you to other open positions that you might be interested in serving on. 

    Applications will include:  

    When submitting your online application, you should be prepared to provide:

    1. PDF -- Letter of interest: Succinctly describe why you feel you are suited for this position and what you feel you can contribute to the committee and position, and how your skills and experience can contribute to the committee’s work.

    2. PDF-- Summary of curriculum vitae (no more than 2 pages)
