We are looking for 8 teams from either a U.S.-based Surgical Residency institution or a U.S.-based ACS chapter to participate. Each team should consist of 2 residents: one junior resident (clinical year 1-3) and one senior resident (clinical year 4 or 5). The competition will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Teams must be able to attend the entire event in person. The winning team will receive a prize and national bragging rights for one year!
Teams should be nominated by an ACS Chapter Leader or a U.S.-based Surgical Residency Program Director.

You will need to supply the following:
- Institution/ACS chapter name and City/state
- Names of team members, cell phone number, email address, clinical year designations
- Creative team name
Final team selection will be announced by via email the first week of September.
Offered by the American College of Surgeons Division of Education, Division of Member Services and the Resident and Associate Society (RAS-ACS). This year’s program will be held during the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA.
