• Leadership & Advocacy Summit

    The American College of Surgeons will host the eighth annual Leadership and Advocacy Summit, March 30–April 2, 2019, at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. The Summit is a dual meeting offering comprehensive and specialized sessions that provides ACS members, leaders and advocates with topics focused on effective surgeon leadership, as well as interactive advocacy training with coordinated visits to congressional offices.
  • Submit Abstracts and Videos for Clinical Congress

    The call for abstracts and videos for Clinical Congress is now open. The Owen H. Wangensteen Scientific Forum offers researchers the opportunity to present the results of their original, basic science, clinical, education, health sciences, and translational research. The video-based education sessions aim to educate surgeons and members of surgical teams in order to improve the care of the surgical patient as well as safeguard the standards of care in an optimal practice environment.

    The call for abstracts is now open for the 2019 ACS Quality and Safety Conference, July 19–22, at the Walter E. Convention Center in Washington, DC. The deadline for submitting abstracts is February 1, 2019.
